Reactions

Quick Acknowledgments

React to comments without adding more messages:

  • ✅ Check - Task completed
  • 👀 Eyes - I'll look at this
  • 🎉 Celebration - Great news!

When to React vs Comment

React when:

  • Simple acknowledgment is enough
  • You don't have anything to add
  • A thumbs up says it all

Comment when:

  • You have questions or context to add
  • Action is required
  • The topic needs discussion

Comment Best Practices

Be Clear and Actionable

Good: @Tom Please review the pricing and approve by Friday

Less helpful: thoughts?

Include Context

Good: @Lisa The customer asked about enterprise features. Can you join the next call to discuss SSO options?

Less helpful: @Lisa help with this please

Use for Decisions

Document decisions in comments for future reference:

Decision: We're going with Option B (monthly billing).
@Finance please update the invoice schedule.

Close the Loop

When a request is complete:

@Sarah Done! Updated the contract and sent to legal.
