Team Chat is Coherence's built-in messaging system. Communicate with your team and AI agents without leaving your workspace.

What is Team Chat?

Team Chat replaces the need for external messaging tools like Slack or Microsoft Teams. Every conversation happens inside Coherence, right alongside your records, email, and calendar.

Channel Types

Public channelsOpen to all workspace members. Great for announcements and team-wide topics
Private channelsInvite-only channels for sensitive discussions
Direct messagesOne-on-one or small group conversations
Agent DMsPrivate conversations with AI agents for 1:1 assistance

Getting Started

  1. Click Chat in the sidebar navigation
  2. Browse existing channels or create a new one
  3. Start messaging your team

Plan Availability

Team Chat is available on the Starter plan and above. The Free plan (single user) does not include Team Chat.
