Module Templates
Install pre-built modules and template packs from the Marketplace

Templates give you a head start: pre-configured modules with fields, views, and references already set up. In Coherence, templates are installed from the Marketplace, then customized like any other module.
Installed template modules don't count toward your plan's custom module limit. Only modules you build yourself with New module do. See Creating Modules.
Opening the Marketplace
- Click Marketplace in the sidebar. Owners and Admins can open it.
- Choose a category:

Installing a Template Pack
Each pack card shows how many Templates it contains, whether it Auto installs, and its Version.
- Click View details to see the modules in the pack.
- Click Install pack.
The button shows Installing… while the pack installs, then Installed. If an install stops partway, the card shows Partial install with a count, and the button changes to Resume install.
To take a pack back out, click Remove on its card. The core starter pack is foundational and can't be removed.
Installing an Individual Module
Each module card shows its number of Fields, Views, and Samples (sample records). Click Install to add the module to your workspace.
Once installed, the card offers:
- Review update — appears when a newer version of the template is available. It shows the differences in fields, views, and references before you apply them.
- Reset to default — appears when you've customized the module. See Reset to Template.
- Reinstall — deletes and recreates the module from the template.
Reinstall permanently removes all fields (including custom fields you added), all views, all references, and all existing records in that module. Use Reset to default instead if you want to keep your records.
Customizing After Installation
Installed modules work like any other module. Open one from the Module catalog to:
- Add fields in the Fields panel
- Add or adjust views in the Views panel
- Rename the module to match your terminology (for example, "Deals" → "Opportunities")
- Adjust select options to match your process
Some fields on template modules are vendor-managed, so a template update or a reset can change them. Fields you add yourself are yours to manage.

Start with the closest match
Install the pack or module closest to your process, then adjust it. It's faster than building from scratch.
Customize select options
Change status and stage options to match the language your team already uses.
Connect to your existing modules
Add Reference fields to link template modules to the modules you already have.
Can't find a template that fits? Create a module from scratch with New module in the Module catalog.
