Workspace Overview

Your workspace is your team's home in Coherence. This guide explains the key areas and how to navigate effectively.

The Interface

Coherence's interface is designed for speed and clarity:

The left sidebar is your primary navigation:

  • Modules - Your data types (Contacts, Companies, custom modules)
  • Views - Saved views for each module
  • Favorites - Quick access to frequently used items
  • Settings - Workspace and personal configuration

Main Area

The center of the screen shows your current view:

  • Table view - Spreadsheet-like grid
  • Kanban view - Drag-and-drop cards
  • Calendar view - Date-based layout
  • List view - Simple list format

Record Panel

When you click a record, the detail panel slides in from the right:

  • Header - Record name and key info
  • Fields - All data for this record
  • Activity - Timeline of emails, changes, and notes
  • Related - Linked records from other modules

Keyboard Shortcuts

Command Bar

Press ⌘K to open the command bar for quick actions:

  • Search for anything
  • Create new records
  • Navigate between modules
  • Run common actions

Click the search icon or press S to search across:

  • All records
  • Email content
  • Notes and activities

Customizing Your Workspace

Drag modules in the sidebar to reorder them. Your most-used modules should be at the top.

Favorites

Star any record, view, or filter to add it to your Favorites section for quick access.

Personal Views

Create personal views that only you can see, perfect for your unique workflows.
