0:00Playbooks put your AI agents to work on the routine jobs in your business. Each playbook wakes up on a schedule, checks your real data, and only acts when there's actually something to do. In this video, we'll set one up from a template, run it, and review the work it hands back.

0:16Playbooks lives right in the main navigation. Here you'll find your playbooks, a Work log of every run, and the Team of agents who do the work.

0:24Click New playbook to start. Collections set up several playbooks as one system, templates cover common jobs, and you can even describe a goal in your own words and have a playbook drafted for you. I'll pick Lead follow-up.

0:37The template fills in the name and the outcome. All that's left is choosing a worker, the agent who'll do the job. I'll give it to Nash.

0:46Now the playbook's settings. The instructions are plain English: use only what each lead's record and notes show, save every draft as a task, and never send anything. They're yours to change, so I'll ask for short emails.

1:01Next, when it runs: weekday mornings at nine, in my own time zone. A playbook can also check for work whenever records change.

1:09And this is what makes a playbook different from a plain schedule: evidence rules. Before Nash does anything, the playbook checks for leads that have gone untouched for three days or more, and makes sure it hasn't already acted today. If nothing qualifies, the run stays quiet, and costs nothing.

1:27Let's save it, and run it now instead of waiting for tomorrow morning. The evidence passed, so the playbook acted and handed Nash a task, and the run shows exactly why.

1:37Every run lands in the Work log, including the quiet ones, so you can always see what your playbooks did, and why. You can filter to the runs that acted, stayed quiet, or got blocked.

1:48The Team tab shows the agents behind your playbooks. Workers never wake up on their own. Playbooks wake them when there's real work to do.

1:56Meanwhile, Nash is working through the quiet leads, reading each one's notes and drafting a follow-up. Let's skip ahead until it's done.

2:04And here's the work, waiting in Tasks: one follow-up task for each quiet lead.

2:12Each task keeps the lead's context, and a draft email written only from what the notes say. Nothing gets sent until you decide it's ready.

2:22That's Playbooks: routine work your agents take care of, only when there's real evidence it's needed. Next, we'll keep exploring Coherence, one app at a time.
