Reminders
Coherence's reminder system helps you stay on top of important tasks and follow-ups. Set reminders on any record and get notified at exactly the right time.
Why Use Reminders?
- Never lose track - Set a reminder and forget about it until the right moment
- Follow up reliably - "Remind me to check on this deal next Tuesday"
- Stay organized - All your reminders in one place
- Multiple channels - Get notified in-app, via email, or both
Quick Actions
The fastest way to set a reminder is using the quick action menu. Click the clock icon on any record to see smart presets:
- Later today - Perfect for afternoon follow-ups
- Tomorrow - Start fresh the next day
- Later this week - A few days out
- This weekend - For weekend catch-ups
- Next week - Monday morning reminder
- Pick date & time - Choose any specific time
Smart presets adjust based on the current time. "Later today" shows different times depending on when you're setting the reminder.
Reminder Types
One-Time Reminders
The most common type. Set a specific date and time, get reminded once.
"Remind me about this proposal on January 15 at 9am"
Recurring Reminders
For regular follow-ups that repeat on a schedule:
- Daily
- Weekly (e.g., every Monday)
- Monthly (e.g., first of each month)
- Custom patterns
Relative Reminders
Tied to a record's date field. The reminder automatically adjusts if the date changes.

"Remind me 1 hour before the meeting"
