Chat with your Autopilot to guide its behavior and manage tasks
Autopilot isn't just a scheduled job — it's a conversational AI you can chat with directly. Open the Autopilot agent's DM channel in Team Chat to give guidance, ask questions, and manage the task queue.
What You Can Do
Ask About Work
- "What have you been working on?"
- "What's in your task queue?"
- "Show me the last briefing"
Autopilot answers from its task history, recent cycle results, and memories.
Give Guidance
- "Focus more on outbound leads this week"
- "Don't email anyone before 9am"
- "When writing docs, always include a competitor comparison table"
Guidance is saved as a memory and influences future planning. The system classifies your intent automatically:

| "How many deals do we have?" | Answered from CRM data (no lasting effect) |

Scope Detection (Admins)
For admin/owner users, the system detects whether guidance applies to the account-level autopilot or your personal autopilot:
- "I want to..." / "My..." / "Me..." — Routes to your personal autopilot
- "We should..." / "The team..." / "All agents..." — Routes to account-level autopilot
- Ambiguous — Defaults to account-level for admins
Regular users' guidance always routes to their personal autopilot.
