AI Agents

AI Agents are specialized AI assistants that live in your workspace. Each agent has its own identity, system prompt, skills, and role — enabling a team of AI workers that handle different aspects of your business.

The Agents Page

Navigate to Agents in the sidebar to see all agents in your workspace. The Agents page has two sections:

• All Agents — Grid view of every agent, showing name, category, linked skills, and status
• Skills — Browse and install skills from the marketplace, or create your own

Creating an Agent

1. Click Create Agent on the Agents page
2. Give it a name, description, and category
3. Write or customize its system prompt (what it does, how it behaves)
4. Optionally link skills for specialized capabilities
5. The agent automatically gets a DM channel in Team Chat

Agent Configuration

Click any agent to open its detail page:

• System Prompt — The core instructions that define the agent's personality and behavior. Edit with the rich text editor (Tiptap) for formatting, or use plain text.
• Skills — Link pre-built skills to extend the agent's capabilities (e.g., SEO analysis, competitive research)
• Role — The permission role assigned to the agent, controlling which tools it can use
• Category — Organizational grouping (sales, marketing, engineering, etc.)

Skills

Skills are reusable prompt modules that give agents specialized capabilities. A skill includes a system prompt section, allowed tools, and trigger conditions.

Installing Skills

1. Go to Agents > Skills tab
2. Browse the Marketplace for Coherence-curated skills (160+ pre-built)
3. Click Install to copy the skill to your workspace
4. Or click Create Agent to install and immediately create an agent with that skill

Marketplace

The marketplace shows two types of skills:

• Coherence catalog — Curated skills maintained by the Coherence team, covering engineering, marketing, sales, design, product management, and more
• Community — Skills published by other Coherence users, with author attribution, install counts, and ratings

My Skills

Create custom skills tailored to your business:

1. Click Create Skill
2. Write a system prompt with specific instructions
3. Set allowed tools and trigger keywords
4. Choose visibility: Account (all users) or Private (only you)

Publishing to Community

Share your custom skills with other Coherence workspaces:

1. Open a skill you created
2. Click Publish to Community
3. Enter your author name
4. Once approved by the Coherence team, your skill appears in the Community marketplace

Agent Tasks

Agents can receive tasks — either from Autopilot, from other agents, or from manual assignment:

• Tasks have priority levels: low, medium, high, urgent
• Tasks are claimed atomically to prevent duplicate execution
• Completed task results are posted to the agent's DM channel
• View all agent tasks at Agents > Tasks
