Nash is Coherence's autonomous AI agent. It researches your business, drafts strategy and content, and brings work to you for review.
Turning Nash on makes it available to work with — it doesn't start a schedule on its own. To give Nash recurring work, schedule a playbook: each playbook wakes on its own schedule or on record events, and acts only when its evidence rules pass.
How It Works
Recurring work runs through playbooks:
- Wake — A playbook wakes on its schedule, or when records are created or updated in a module you choose
- Check evidence — Its evidence rules are checked against your real data. If they don't pass, it records a quiet run and does nothing
- Act — When they pass, it creates a task for its worker, which uses the same tools available to your AI agents (search, create records, draft documents, research the web, and more)
- Review — The work flows through your approval rules, autonomy levels, and quality review

Autopilot has access to 16+ tools, including:

Getting Started
- Open the Agents page and go to Dashboard (see Configuring Autopilot for how to reach it), or open My Autopilot in the sidebar for your personal Nash
- Click Enable Nash (on My Autopilot, turn on the switch)
- Optionally set focus areas to guide what Nash prioritizes
- Give Nash recurring work by scheduling a playbook
- Review results on the Playbooks page under Work, and in the Agents page's Task Queue
Give Nash long-term context about your business goals and priorities in Settings → Mission on the Agents page — the mission and goals there form the workspace operating charter that agent runs load (an agent with its own charter uses that instead). Enabling Nash also creates a Mission document in Collab; see Configuring Autopilot for what reads it.
