AI Intent Analysis
Understand how AI detects buying intent in social posts
Intent Analysis uses AI to automatically score every post for buying signals, helping you prioritize the most promising leads.
AI Intent Analysis requires the Collaborate plan or higher.
How It Works
When a post is discovered, our AI analyzes the content to detect:
- Pain points - Frustration, complaints, unmet needs
- Research behavior - Comparing options, asking questions
- Purchase signals - Budget mentions, timeline, decision-making
- Product fit - Relevance to your solution
Intent Score
Each post receives a score from 0-100:
Low Intent (0-30)
General discussion with no buying signals.
Examples:
- "I love using Notion for personal projects"
- "Here's how we structure our sales team"
- Industry news or announcements
Action: Monitor, no immediate engagement needed.
Medium Intent (31-60)
Some interest in solutions, early research phase.
Examples:
- "What tools do you use for project management?"
- "How do you handle CRM data?"
- "Any thoughts on automation?"
Action: Provide helpful, non-salesy responses.
High Intent (61-80)
Active research, comparing solutions.
Examples:
- "Comparing Salesforce vs HubSpot for a 10-person team"
- "Need recommendations for email automation"
- "What's the best CRM under $50/month?"
Action: Share relevant experience and offer to help.
Hot Intent (81-100)
Ready to make a decision, urgent need.
Examples:
- "We need to switch CRMs this month"
- "Looking for a Salesforce alternative ASAP"
- "Budget approved, need recommendations by Friday"
Action: Engage immediately with helpful response.
Intent Signals
The AI detects specific signals in posts:
| Signal | Example | Weight |
|---|---|---|
| Pain point | "frustrated with", "doesn't work" | High |
| Recommendation request | "what do you use?", "any suggestions?" | High |
| Comparison | "A vs B", "which is better" | Medium |
| Budget mention | "$X/month", "affordable", "enterprise" | High |
| Timeline | "this week", "ASAP", "before Q2" | Very High |
| Switching intent | "moving from", "replacing", "alternative to" | Very High |
